After Orcquake, the Prince started a lot of charities, and wants others to engage the Church of the Unwanted (particularly with food) Assassination attempt on The Prince by poison dart by natives of Prince's kingdom. Blue, Adam, and Thumor secure his release via violence against golems. Sea People scouts are captured and Lucas starts questioning them. Rich drinks sea people essence, provided by Blue, to gain rapport. Ghost King appears to the party, and becomes a normal fixture. First cohort sets out West, and the First Centurion was killed by rogue magic, and definitely not negligent, friendly fire. A new fort is established near the quarry. Quarry found empty and damaged. Quarry lift repaired. Small camp established at quarry. Legate buys black Iron sword from Thumor. Lots of ghosts found at the Quarry, but no bodies are located. Closer relations established with dwarves by Abraham. Thumor builds siege engine, a covered battering ram. 2nd cohort establishes final fort by Sea People encampment. Scouts report that the sea people are armed with captured imperial weapons. Sea people are not normally settled, but prefer nomadic life. Abraham open negotiations on a trade deal between merchants and Dwarves. New settlement established at quarry. Lucas tasked with learning the sea people language, and succeeds in creating rapport. In time, he gains their trust and learns that Sea Peoples may teleport through bodies of water, after convincing them not to murder everyone. Lucas meets various people within the Sea People camp, and reports his finding to Tiberius. Blue and Lucas summon a wind spirit as an intermediary to appease Travel God. Lucas engages with the Sea People from the inside. Cohorts move against Sea People, and establish siege. Abraham leads defense of camp and loses a leg, in a heroic and non-negligent manner. Lucas and Blue negate Sea People magic. Negotiations lead to temporary peace contingent on peace with the Orcs. Blue secures return of Imperial dead, burial pending. Ghosts had taken Sea People cultural affectations, but appeared peaceful. Abe and Lucas go off to see Orcs, and discover that the hate between the orcs and sea people was blind and unnatural. Blue summons Eliza, and Blue and Lucas negotiate the end of the curse on the orcs in return for the wind spirit in Lucas' eye. Her presence caused the wind spirit to retreat, and caused the Ghost King to weaken considerable. She wants her box back. Lucas presents the hat, it's nothing like the hat that was ordered. Abraham finalizes the Trade with the Dwarves, food for Iron. Abraham was copying scrolls from Blue, and discovers crop shortages. Thumor's kiln explodes. Lucas expands Dandies into the Dwarves with Lord. Abraham met with Dwarf diplomats. Blue plays spy within Dwarven mine, steals documents and Golem parts. Abraham steals documents from Dwarves. Lucas find a tailor, and convinces him to join dandies. (OOC - Abe negotiates 50 pounds of Black Metal from Dwarves, out of character, they want a star maps. Lucas may get up to 10 pounds depending on Abraham.) Thumor is uneasy around the Dwarves. They appear to be from various factions through time, space, and even fantasy. Abraham teaches Orcs and Sea People to grow wheat. Reputation Cohort defender given to wilderness group. Tony wants players to continue work on trade and farming. Don't disturb the dwarves. OOC - Blue has completed schematics of god knows what from dwarven mines, and infiltrated the Royalist faction via proxy candidates. IC - Blue makes effort to appear as if he maintains networks of agents, and hates the Church of Iron. Made mention that the Dwarven society in the mine appear to have developed in an unnatural manner, possessing mixed qualities inconsistent with natural dwarves. Uses the term para-cosmic bleed; literally manifesting from stories and folklore. IC - Blue notes the Legate's hilariously small dick. IC, from Lucas' perspective - Lucas wants to raise his profile socially with the public and professionally with the Haberdasher's Guild. To that end, he has established the Wilderness Dandies, beginning with a handful of mercenary auxiliaries. Lucas has spread the dandies into the Dwarves. He was able to convince the Dwarven tailor that fashion aesthetic was functional enough on its own, and successfully convinced the dwarven lord to join as well. Lucas has also created honor badges specific to the Dandies, and shared the items with the Haberdashers Guild. IC, Lucas learned a formula from Dwarven technology which was used to create "The Hat of Clear Thinking", which was promptly given to Abraham.
