Constructed in CY 534 in the architectural style of "slap wood together and hope it doesn't collapse," the inn was ironically named in an attempt to lure in foolish tourists.

The inn offers rooms at varying rates (monthly, weekly, daily, hours, etc) and for a varying clientele (fools, adventurers, thieves, etc). Uniquely, the Lord Mayor`s Palace Inn is the only establishment in the city to offer ((elven)) whores. ((Dwarves)) seem to be the primary customers.

In mid CY 577, ((the party)) had the misfortune of choosing this location to base their local operations early in their career. Undoubtedly, it has helped to color their view of the ((gem of the Flanaess)). Ever since their arrival, a mysterious purple haze of smoke has hung over the building. Despite offers from local ((wizards)), the proprietor has opted to leave the blight to help attract tourists.
