Thumor Brickshield is male dwarven merchant, who is relatively clean for a dwarf. He was the bastard son of a high noble belonging to Clan Brickshield. At an early age he was given up by his clan to save his life. He was adopted and raised by Clan Silverbeard. He has done very well with the Merchant Guild gaining fame and notoriety. His rival is Nundac Orefoot, who has always thought he is Thumor's better.

Thumor left the old world to establish himself in the larger world. He has brought Olon Silverbeard with him, his younger clan brother. Olon is Thumor's right hand man, and was eager head out into the surface world to avoid a death from political intrigue.
